  Milano Pizza in Manotick (Not to be confused with Milano-City Pizza that is also in Manotick) is a welcome addition. We are in Riverside South and were craving a great pizza place. The crust is homemade, the toppings are plentiful and the delivery was fast.
  
  This is now the best pizza place in the Manotick and Riverside South Area.

  I have ordered for over five years from the woodroffe barrhaven location. Unfortunately, they opened a store in in manotick that now services delivery to stonebridge. In September my husband and I had our Milano donair craving and ordered for delivery but were re routed to this location under their new area restrictions for delivery. A co worker mentioned to me yesterday their terrible experience from this same location which prompted me to post this review. Milanos as a chain makes a great donair just not in manotick! When we received our order we almost took our first bites simultaneously and spit it out also simultaneously discovering pickles and pickled beets. It specifically says on ALL milanos menus theirs included the  have lettuce tomato and choice of sauce and if you visit the woodroffe barrhaven or merivale nepean locations you get just that. Who would expect anything else? After our discovery I promptly called the store thinking it must have been a mistake. The girl who answered gave me to the " manager"  who was the rudest man I have ever spoken with! I simply said we had ordered one donair platter and one chicken shawarma platter both with sweet sauce but there must be a mistake as there are pickles and pickled beets. Heis reply was what's the problem? I said well that's not what we ordered. He says yes you ordered a donair and shawarma. Yes I reply but since when are pickles and beets on the menu? He replies before I finish speaking irritated "since we opened"  I said well we have eaten at your other two locations for years and NEVER has it been in our platters and it seems you added less meat to compensate for these unwanted items and as well it is NOT on the menu so how would anyone predict this? It would be like advertising a meat pizza with four meats and all of a sudden you have olives and mushrooms but yet it's not listed on the menu description.   He aggressively again not letting me finish a sentence talking over me saying Hey Hey Lady ever gone to a real donair place? Have you ever had a real donair? That's what they are made with! I was almost in disbelief how do you justify adding ingredients not listed and then asking me about "real" donair places? What are saying about your company? You are a franchise when you order a big Mac in barrhaven or downtown they are the same thing. My reply was well maybe if this is what you choose to do you should list that on your menu so your customers are aware. He says what do you want new food?  I look at my husband thinking no way this guy is ridiculous and I don't trust it. I said I'm sorry I find your response rude, unprofessional and I will never order from milanos again. His response fine and hangs up!!!!! I actually called the woodroffe barrhaven location told them everything. The girl was in disbelief told me some of the workers there moved to that location and also did not understand why pickles and pickled beets were added or why the man would speak to me like that, she apologized to me and was kind but I told her the same thing we ordered from them pizza at least twice monthly and donairs at least monthly but we will NEVER again and we never have AVOID this location!!!
